Please check all areas and times in which you would be willing to volunteer

Kid Zone Playground – A playground area for children 2 to 12, who must be accompanied by an adult, will be provided free of charge. The playground area will consist of inflatables for older children and climbing toys for children under four (4). Twelve (12) volunteers will be needed for each two (2) hour shift. Volunteers will monitor activities and may assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Volunteers will help provide a safe, friendly environment and assist children and parents during their time in the playground area.

Kidz Blitz Live – This event is focused on children ages 5-12. With lights, fog, a unique sound track, and loads of action, Kidz Blitz Live is coming to the Nazarene General Assembly/Convention. This is a fast-paced, high-octane event. Children will experience Biblical truths communicated through special effects and illustrative interaction. In a Super Bowl atmosphere, kids will witness the Great Balloon Stuff, the Flying Donut Chew, Xtreme Hula, the Ultimate Kidz Blitz Chicken and Bone Challenge, the Hovering Beach Ball, and much more. Twenty (20) volunteers are needed for the two Kidz Blitz Live performances. Most volunteers will help with child safety, crowd control, check-in and check-out procedures, and restroom escorts. In addition, Kidz Blitz also requests volunteers to serve as team captains, security guards, scorekeepers, and one “Tornado Man” for each performance.

World Quiz 2017 - World Quiz will be held on Saturday, June 24, and we anticipate over 2,000 children participating! We are in need of people to serve as runners and general volunteers. Runners will be responsible for getting scorecards to the master scorekeepers at the end of each quiz round. General volunteers are needed for set-up, general information/security during the quiz, and tear-down. If you interested in volunteering for World Quiz, please contact Leslie Hart via email at childquiz@nazarene.org.
